#64. See 15 Movies from AFI’s 100 Years 100 Movies
The library is an excellent place to get movies on AFI’s top 100 movies list. They tend to have older yet classic movies there. I decided that this would be an excellent place to scope out movie number 1 to watch from this list. I had seen fewer than 20 of these movies prior to beginning this list. Among the ones I had seen were “Toy Story”, “Snow White”, and “The Wizard of Oz”. I hope you see the theme there.
My first completed movie off this list was “It’s a Wonderful Life”. This movie warmed my heart. Aside from the lovely story (and numerous societal quotes that I now have a place for) there is something about a black and white movie that makes me happy.
